East Staffordshire Community & Voluntary Service (ESCVS)is the Council for Voluntary Service covering the East Staffordshire district.We are a company limited by guarantee (Company no 5712135) and a registered charity (no 1114297) and have been in existence for nearly thirty years.

Our main purpose is to support, promote and develop voluntary action in the community. We are funded from a mixture of sources, including grant and from statutory bodies and project funding and Trust Funds.  We are a membership organisation.

ESCVS hold the "Positive about Disabled People" symbol and the ground floor of the voluntary services centre offers full disabled access and facilities.  A hearing loop is available in the meeting room and reception is open 9am until 4pm Monday to Friday.

A Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) is an independent local voluntary organisation with a voluntary management committee made up of representatives from local voluntary organisations. We employ paid staff and volunteers. We are part of a national network of over 230 CVS.
